Fotona lasers are typically a painless procedure. However, you may feel a mild prickling sensation during the treatment and experience slight redness afterwards, which will subside within a few hours.
For optimal results, we recommend undergoing multiple sessions, with each session spaced three to four weeks apart.
There are typically no significant downtime or side effects associated with these lasers. Patients can resume their daily activities immediately after the treatment with adequate moisturising and sunscreen protection.
As with all laser treatments, it is crucial to protect your skin from direct sunlight before and after the treatment. Additionally, it is essential to apply moisturiser and wear sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 35 daily.
